THE AGRAR SHREDDER
The BA 916 is a powerful and versatile JENZ shredder that is ideal for processing green waste, silage and bark. By installing stationary tools, good fuels can be produced from, for example, woody green waste or pre-crushed roots. With 530 HP, 19 t of total weight and 10.4 m transport length, the BA 916 is a real work horse. The rotor speed of over 1.100 rpm enables particularly fine material cut, even with difficult material such as manure.

The new agricultural variant of the BA 916 is specially tailored to the needs of farmers, contractors and biogas plant operators. In addition to standard stationary tools, the shredder scores with optional special screen baskets and special features for processing sugar beets.

Mode Selecting System
The machine has three preset shredding modes that can be adjusted depending on the source material. For example, green waste can be assigned a separate mode, which is then called up at the push of a button. This saves time and enables even inexperienced operators to make optimum use of the machine.
To ensure smooth operation of JENZ machines, log data can be transmitted to JENZ on a daily basis. These data help to detect anomalies more quickly and, in the event of an error message, support can be provided quickly and reliably.
JES STANDBY MODE
The JES (JENZ Energy Saver) mode can shut down the engine to idle at the push of a button if work is interrupted. This stops the conveyor belt and the intake. To continue work, switch back to operation by pressing a button and restart the system.
ASSEMBLY / DISASSEMBLY ASSISTANT
With the setup and disassembly assistant, the JENZ machine is ready for use in just 1 minute. One push of a button is all it takes to raise the discharge conveyor, lower the hopper, and engage the rotor.
Intelligent hydraulic control allows precise adjustment of the machine to the material and the desired discharge. This ensures high processing quality and maximum efficiency. Diagnostic valves offer easy fault diagnosis - both for the operator and for JENZ Service.
ERGONOMIC MAINTENANCE ACCESS
The ergonomic maintenance access enables convenient and safe replacement of wear parts. The discharge belt can be swivelled to the side at the push of a button, providing free access to the rotor. Alternatively, a forklift or wheel loader can be moved right up to the rotor to remove heavy wear parts.
The machine is equipped with a standard professional tooling system. This includes a swivelling toolbox, compressed air connection and work lights. If mounted to the machine, the toolbox can be easily swivelled to the rotor. This provides direct access to all important tools and spare parts at any time.
In addition, a compressed air hose reel with a 15 m line is located in the side of the conveyor intake. The reel is equipped with a quick-coupling valve, which allows quick and easy connection and disconnection of the line.
